Met some old friends for lunch. They had the chicken burgers and I had the chili. They said that the chicken was very good. Got there at 11:30 am no wait for a table but by the time we were done every table except a large one were busy.

You can't go wrong with Key's, any location.. good food, great service.. but let me add that I stopped here and made an order to go, btw the turkey dinner is awesome! and that is what I ordered, the woman who took my order notice i was wearing a motorcycle jacket and wrapped the meal carton and the extra order of gravy in plastic wrap to make sure it wouldn't leak on the ride home, which was awesome for her to do. and don't forget to get a slice of pie while visiting!

The ambiance of the indoor dining was great and the noise level was pretty tame compared to other dining establishments of it's kind. The tables and floors were clean and the staff were very pleasant. I was pleased with the wait times for my food as well. The Keys Signature Cinnamon French Toast was amazing and more than filling. I highly suggest giving Keys Cafe & Bakery a try if you find yourself in Forest Lake or one of the other cities they are located in. My girlfriend works at the Forest Lake location and loves seeing new faces. Just ask for Chicka Cheeks.

Keys Cafe & Bakery is a really good place if you want a home feeling meal. They serve everything from breakfast to lunch and dinner, so there’s a lot of variety depending on what you’re craving. They also have a bakery with delicious treats that are always tempting to grab before leaving. The servings are large, and the food is consistently good. I also really enjoy trying their seasonal drinks because they are always fun and taste incredible. They do get pretty busy during meal times, especially on weekends, so I would expect a small wait that can be up to around 20 minutes. Another good thing to know is that there’s a tax when using a card instead of cash. It’s also a little more on the spendy side, so I’d expect to spend around $20–30 per person if you get a meal and a beverage. Overall, it’s a cozy place with good food and a welcoming atmosphere.

My husband and I will never be ordering here again. When he picked up our online order, it was demanded that he pay an extra charge on a very small side of gravy, and if there IS SUPPOSED to be an extra charge, it should be charged already on the ordering website. He actually saw the old, white-haired woman say "charge this person extra" to the cashier, in a very rude voice and manner. NEVER have we ever been charged extra for a side of sauce in all the times we have ordered from there. The more ridiculous thing is the amount of food we received. We paid over $45 for two sandwiches before the extra charge. The hot roast beef sandwich had hardly any beef at all compared to the several times I have ordered it to-go previously. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I was extremely excited to eat at Keys because I heard so many great things. I'll start off by saying that the staff, servers and the vibe is great. The coffee and baked goods are also awesome. I was pretty disappointed in breakfast. The salmon eggs benedict was not good. Shredded salmon, flavorless hollandaise sauce and the eggs were not poached. The rest of breakfast was just ok. I will be back again, hopefully a bit better next time.

Thank you Al for the wonderful service! This is my boyfriend and I’s most favorite spot to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner!! Always good service and they’re quick for how busy they are. Love the coffee and baked goods as well.

I stopped in a few days before my son's birthday, because quite frankly, I had forgotten to order a cake! I spent a few minutes chatting the cashier, she took great notes, and even with just a few quick details about my son's interests and favorite colors, they absolutely hit his cake out of the park. It was delicious, a work of art, and affordable. Love that Keys is local and has such wonderful bakery options. Thank you!

Absolutely love everything about Keys Cafe! From dine in to door dash take out, every meal is delicious!! Try the club with the cranberry wild rice bread for lunch 😍 the loon omelet for breakfast. Five star French toast with fruit…so many great options.

I had never eaten at this Keys. On our way from Rochester to Duluth we wanted to stop after getting through St. Paul. I Googled places to eat and that location appeared. I had the Monte Cristo and my husband had the hot turkey sandwich. They were wonderful. When checking out, we bought some oatmeal carmelitas bars to share with family. Delicious!

Our first time visiting this location. We went in on a Monday for breakfast. I think we missed the first rush, as we were seated right away and then our server got coffee for us. (then i saw that they have lattes, etc. so i ordered a breve and it was delicious!) The service was great! My husband had an omelet and i had biscuits & gravy (with a non-pork gravy), and we ordered a cinnamon roll and a pecan sticky bun to taste there, but brought them home for later.( fyi: they reheat well) The food was made to order and we liked everything! A nice, bright, open feeling place with comfortable booths.

Server was prompt and courteous. Although not particularly warm towards me and my 2 boys who stopped on for a quick brunch. We all got the cheapest options on the menu and I still ended up paying $34 for one adult and two children. Food was very good. Eggs came perfectly cooked. I wasn't a fan of the jam provided as it was a little sour, but seemed to be a homemade recipe. Sausage patties were fantastic. Definitely go for the food, but don't expect a server to spend their time on you. Just quick polite service. Expect it to be busy and a little noisy.

From breakfast to dinner including deserts best food you can buy. I now travel an hour to and from to eat from here. Also they made my wedding cake. I’ve never been disappointed!

Key's Cafe in Forest Lake is one of the best breakfast restaurants I've had the pleasure to eat in a long time. They also have an extensive lunch and dinner menu but the breakfast we had was exceptional. They have a large seating capacity so the wait was minimal. They also have an onsite bakery with exquisite pies and phenomenal caramel pecan rolls. They are very busy on Sunday mornings but it is worth the drive and slight wait in order to enjoy a great meal.
